"Digital Divide" of China's Online Education under the Background of "Internet Plus"

- Abstract
This paper explores "Digital Divide" problem of China's online education under the background of "Internet Plus". The existing online education platform, the number of online education users or learners and the online education development status are summarized and analyzed in this paper. Today's online education is not entirely effective in narrowing the "Digital Divide" of Chinese society. But the development of "Internet Plus Education", namely the development of online education is the trend; pay attention to the guidance of national policy, make financial tilt in remote rural areas and undeveloped areas, focus on improving basic computer skills of the youth and elderly people are important methods; in the era of digital information technology, the promotion of online education is an effective and feasible way to narrow the "Digital Divide".
