Abstract

Traditional villages have rich history and folk culture, which is the essence and crystallization of national culture. This paper discusses the “folk culture” of Shanxi Province, extends the research object to traditional villages, from three aspects of material folk culture, living folk culture and spiritual folk culture, and puts forward the strategies to protect and develop various folk cultures.
