Abstract

Under the U.S. subprime lending crisis, Lehman Brothers, with 158 year history, declared bankruptcy suddenly. It is not only related to the external factors like American financial innovation develops excessively and supervises disadvanta-geously, but also has certain inherent connections to its internal financial man-agement goals. This article will give an in-depth analysis from the perspective of financial management goals of why Leh-man Brothers bankrupted.
