Abstract

A high resolution numerical model of Laoshan Bay is established in order to study the Influence of the National Deep-sea Center Engineering on Hydrodynamics. The model is verified by the observation data. The results show that although the hydrodynamic characteristics of the Laoshan Bay did not change, the tide currents near the project change obviously after the construction of the project, and the hydrodynamic environment in the cove significant reduced.
