Abstract

Recent years, the course “An Introduction to English-Speaking Countries” has become one of the three big obstacles in the examination for the English majors. Obviously, the traditional teaching method does not work well there. The work combined the methods of several educational psychologists, exploring cooperative learning in the teaching of the course. It is found out that cooperative learning is an effective method that enhances students’ ability and activeness in learning and promotes a mutual learning pattern.
