We would like to express our gratitude to all the individuals who supported within the planning, implementation, and follow-up of the 6th Yogyakarta International Seminar on Health, Physical Education, and Sports Science (YISHPESS 2023) and inspired us to effectively accomplish the requirement of generating articles for publication through Atlantis Press. We, as the core committee, would like to spread our highest gratitude to the Rector of Yogyakarta State University, Prof. Sumaryanto, Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, Yogyakarta State University, and Prof.Wawan S. Suherman, for their respective positions involvement as presenters at the 6th YISHPESS Seminar. We would also like to thank all the faculty executives who have contributed to the successful conference of the annual international seminar, ensuring its flawless execution and reaching our expectations. We express our enormous gratitude to Prof. Dr. Dato. Colonel. Amin, from Sultan Idris Education University, for generously accepting our invitation to open and share perspectives on physical education in higher education. We also extend our genuine appreciation to all the invited speakers, particularly Prof. Francis Ries and Prof. Luiz Carrasco Paez from Universidad de Sevilla, Spain, for their valuable contributions and collaboration initiatives between our institutions. As a colleague, both of them continue to inspire and exchange knowledge about physical education and sports science due to the excellent partnership. Furthermore, we would like to extend our gratitude to the distinguished speakers from the African continent, particularly our colleagues from the University of Burundi, Prof. Dr. Audace Manirabona and Dr. Japhet Ndayisenga, who have generously dedicated their time and expertise to enlighten all participants on the subject of physical education. It is important to recognize the commitment and effort of the core committee mem- bers who have contributed their energy and innovative ideas to ensure the successful performance of the international conference. The creation of the international conference, the 6th YISHPESS 2023, is dedicated to the academic community of the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences, Yogyakarta State University.We expect that scientific articles published by Atlantis Press will make valu- able contributions to several elements that strengthen the careers of the whole academic community and enhance international recognition for the university and faculty.
