Abstract

Based on the philosophy of general education and the theories of curriculum development, and under the guidance of College English Curriculum Requirements (2007) and National Medium and Long-term Educational Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020), this study aims to explore the feasibility of College English curriculum development from the perspective of general education through an empirical study in An-hui Agricultural University, a key provincial comprehensive university, at the same time attempts to put for-ward the easily-conducted and practical learning framework of College English curriculum reform.
