Proceedings of the Conference on Social and Sustainable Innovation in Technology & Engineering (SASI-ITE 2025)
Conference: Conference on Social and Sustainable Innovation in Technology & Engineering (SASI-ITE 2025)
Date: 26-27 September 2025
Location: Tadepalligudem, India (Hybrid)
Website: https://ite.sasi.ac.in/ The 2nd International Conference on Social and Sustainable Innovation in Technology & Engineering (SASI-ITE 2025) was held on 26–27 September 2025 at Sasi Institute of Technology & Engineering, Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh, India, with participants joining in hybrid mode (both in-person and virtual). SASI-ITE 2025 is the acronym used throughout the conference website and announcements. SASI-ITE 2025 was organized under the theme “AI for Sustainability: Empowering a Green Inclusive Future”, aiming to bring together researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from across the globe to present and discuss innovations that bridge the domains of technology, engineering, and sustainable development. This volume compiles the accepted and peer-reviewed papers presented at SASI-ITE 2025. The aim of SASI-ITE 2025 is to foster interdisciplinary research and application at the intersection of social sustainability, engineering, and emerging technologies. The scope encompasses methods, systems, and use cases in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, smart computing, data science, VLSI, blockchain, as well as infrastructure, energy systems, environmental engineering, and governance models that serve sustainable development goals. In preparing this volume, efforts have been made to ensure that the published content remains consistent with the stated title and scope of the conference, and that the included papers demonstrate focus, coherence, and thematic alignment. The organizing and program committees sought to include papers that not only propose novel algorithms or system architectures but also articulate real-world sustainability implications, thereby maintaining a balanced emphasis on both technological rigor and social/environmental relevance. The 40 papers included in these proceedings address a diverse yet cohesive set of topics, grouped under thematic tracks such as: AI in climate resilience, sustainable infrastructure, smart grids, IoT for environmental monitoring, circular economy systems, digital twins for sustainable design, and emergent methods in energy optimization. Each contribution underwent thorough peer review to ensure scientific quality and relevance to the conference’s mission. We express our deepest gratitude to all authors, reviewers, keynote speakers, and participants whose intellectual contributions made SASI-ITE 2025 a success. Thanks also to the organizing team and institutional support from Sasi Institute of Technology & Engineering. We hope these proceedings will serve as a valuable reference and stimulate further research and collaboration in the quest for socially sustainable innovation through technology and engineering.
