Abstract

With the rapid development of mobile internet technologies, the e-commerce industry has undergone profound structural and operational transformations. To achieve sustainable growth, e-commerce enterprises must enhance their market competitiveness, improve operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality services. In this context, effective inventory control has become a critical factor in maintaining the core competitiveness of e-commerce enterprises. This study is grounded in fuzzy set theory and systematically identifies key fuzzy parameters inherent in inventory management scenarios, followed by the construction of corresponding fuzzy operational expressions. Based on the practical characteristics of inventory management in e-commerce enterprises, a multi-parameter fuzzy inventory model is developed under the constraint of zero stockouts. Furthermore, a specific category of materials from an e-commerce enterprise is selected for empirical case analysis to validate the proposed model. The results indicate that the inventory costs estimated using the fuzzy inventory model are significantly lower than the actual inventory costs observed in enterprise operations, thereby demonstrating the effectiveness and practical applicability of the proposed approach.
