Abstract

China has set a target of peak carbon by 2030 and a target of carbon neutrality by 2060. In recent years, many residential buildings in small and medium-sized cities are in a state of imbalance between supply and demand, and the task of carbon emission reduction is onerous. In this paper, the full life cycle carbon emission theory is used to calculate the carbon emission of 33 typical residential buildings in small and medium-sized cities from 2011 to 2020. In terms of time, there are two trends. The first is that the per capita carbon emission of residential buildings increases over time, while the second is the opposite. In terms of space, the regions with higher carbon emissions per capita from residential buildings are mainly distributed in the northern and eastern regions. The lower regions are mainly distributed in northwest and southwest China. In this paper, the PMC method is used to evaluate the real estate-related policies in 33 cities, and the regression analysis is carried out. The research shows that the higher the requirement of real estate carbon emission policy and the stricter the implementation, the more obvious the effect of residential carbon emission can control.
