Abstract

In order to evaluate the effectiveness of air quality assurance measures during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games, samples of atmospheric particulates in Weifang City during the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games were collected to analyze the level of air pollution during the Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games. The computer-controlled scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrum system (CCSEM-EDX) was used to analyze the morphology characteristics of particulates, the type and quantity proportion of particulates, and the quantity-particle size distribution of particulates. The results show that the air quality during the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games is better than that in the same historical period of 2020 and 2021, the control measures are effective.
