- Abstract
This study proposes that work engagement is influenced by transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, psychological capital. The purpose of this study was to reveal the effect of transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, psychological capital on work engagement of Nagari employees in South Solok Regency. This study uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques using an online survey of 239. The data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that transformational leadership significantly affected perceived organizational support, perceived organizational support also significantly affected work engagement and psychological capital. Furthermore, psychological capital has a significant effect on work engagement. However, the results of the analysis show that transformational leadership has no significant effect on work engagement and psychological capital. Perceived organizational support was found to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and work engagement. And psychological capital cannot mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and perceived organizational support on work engagement.
