Abstract

This study seeks to substantiate the analysis of the role of employee engagement as a mediating factor in the link between work-family conflict and turnover intention, moderated by supervisor support (for female bank nagari employees in Padang city). In this study, the samples were female employees at the Nagari Bank in the city of Padang. The collection of data and information involved distributing questionnaires through in-person surveys to employees of Bank Nagari in the city of Padang. The data analysis employed in this study involves Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). Subsequently, the examination of hypotheses yielded the following outcomes: the first hypothesis suggests that work-family conflict has a positive impact on turnover intention; the second hypothesis posits that employee engagement has no significant effect on turnover intention; the third hypothesis indicates that supervisor support has a negative influence on turnover intention; the fourth hypothesis proposes that work-family conflict positively influences employee engagement; the fifth hypothesis suggests that work-family conflict has a positive impact on supervisor support; the sixth hypothesis postulates that employee engagement does not serve as a mediator in the relationship between work-family conflict and turnover intention; and the seventh hypothesis suggests that supervisor support weakens the relationship between work-family conflict and turnover intention.
