The conference is organized by Doctor in Education Study Program, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Bengkulu, which aims to explore new direction of interdisciplinary knowledge and technology to the most influential ideas and innovations in education and research. The theme of the conference is “Education for Sustainable Development Teaching and Learning.” Through this conference, we provide the forum for the researchers, scientists, education practitioners, and students to present and share their innovative ideas in education. The conference was held on April 22, 2023, and took place in Universitas Bengkulu, Bengkulu, Indonesia. We would like to express our gratitude to all keynote speakers and presenters from around the world who deliver and exchange their ideas in the OCERI 2023. The invited speakers include Prof. Ir. Nizam, Ph.D. (Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Indonesia), Prof. Dr. Sudarwan Danim (Universitas Bengkulu, Indonesia), Assoc Prof. Ahmed J. Obaid (Kufa University, Iraq), Dr. Ahmed A. Elngar (Beni-Suef University, Egypt), Assoc Prof. Theodore Chao (Ohio State University, United State), and Prof.Dr. Novianty Djafri, M.Pd.I (Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, Indonesia). This volume of proceedings provides an opportunity for readers to engage with a selection of refereed papers that were presented during the OCERI 2023. We wish scholars, professionals, and stakeholders from all parts of society and all regions of the world enjoy and discover valuable engagement with authors’ ideas in sustaining professional development in the area of educational sciences.
