- Abstract
Taking the calculation of fluid friction coefficient as an example, this paper analyzes the case teaching of numerical solution of nonlinear equations, and points out that the theory should not be ignored in case teaching, and the effectiveness and operability of numerical method in solving practical problems should be taught comprehensively, and the application should be carried out in combination with the characteristics of practical problems. This paper focuses on the combination of the fixed point iterative method, Newton iterative method and the solving tool provided by MATLAB and the calculation case of fluid friction coefficient, and intersperses with the discussion of stability and the selection of initial value. So that students can deeply understand the mathematical theory and solve practical problems efficiently.
