Website: http://www.icmied.org With the advent of globalization, enterprises, governments, and various organizations have been confronted with heightened demands for management innovation. Simultane ously, all sectors of the economy face new challenges and opportunities for growth and development. Against this backdrop, the 2024 2nd International Conference on Manage ment Innovation and Economy Development (MIED 2024) took place in Guilin, China, from June 28 to 30, 2024. The main goal was to bring together scientists, researchers, and developers engaged in fields of management innovation and economy development to bridge the gap between research needs and advanced technological solutions. The conference brought together about 150 experts, scholars, researchers, enterprise representatives, and relevant personnel from all over the world, showing wide interna tional influence. They shared the latest research results, exchanged technical experi ences and explored cooperation opportunities at the event, jointly fostering research and development in management innovation and economy development. The conference agenda mainly included opening speech, keynote speech, oral pre sentation, poster presentation, academic discussion, among others, all of which fostered an environment conducive to understanding academic trends, broadening research hori zons, strengthening academic discourse, as well as promoting the industrialization of research outcomes. In addition, we would like to introduce the prominent speakers, who performed dramatic speeches on specific subjects combining their own research expe rience and professional knowledge. They are Professor Wenbing Zhao, IEEE Senior Member, (Cleveland State University, America), Professor Zhikai Wang (Zhejiang Uni versity, China), Professor Huaping Sun (Jiangsu University, China), Professor Peiwen Bai (Xiamen University, China), respectively. The Proceedings of MIED 2024 encompass a broad range of topics that encapsulate the essence of management innovation and economic development. These include, but are not limited to, management information system, marketing management, decision making and business models, taxation and accounting, data processing in economic management, economic growth and technological innovation, artificial intelligence and Internet economy, blockchain, low carbon/green economy, etc. Each paper, after meticu lous peer-review by a panel of esteemed experts, has been selected for inclusion based on its novelty, completeness, and potential impact on the fields. The authors, hailing from prestigious universities, research institutions, and industry worldwide, have presented their findings in a clear and concise manner, making this collection a valuable resource for scholars, students, and practitioners alike. In the final foreword, we would like to thank all the speakers, authors, reviewers, and all people involved in the conference. We also appreciate the members of technical program committee for giving such an opportunity for all of us to share scientific ideas and new developments at the conference.
