Abstract

With the depth integration of informatization and industrialization and the rapid development of the Internet, the industrial control systems (ICS) communication protocols’ risks have become increasingly prominent. This paper firstly analyzes the security issues of the current mainstream industrial control systems communication protocols, such as Modbus, DNP3 and OPC. Then the security recommendations are raised against such issues. The safety of the whole industrial control network can be improved by improving the security of communication protocols.
