- Abstract
This paper innovatively proposes a local distance feature based shortwave direction finding cross location algorithm. The proposed algorithm is accomplished by setting one principle direction finding station and extracting the local distance feature in the first localization results. The azimuth subset is created considering the local distance feature and the principle direction finding station. The measured results show that compared to the traditional cross location algorithm, the proposed local distance feature extraction based location algorithm increases the location accuracy and decrease the location error.
