Abstract

Focusing on the problem of low computa-tion efficiency in the process of tracking human 3D motion, the fast tracking algo-rithm for 3D arm motion based on Joint-Chain Motion Model (JCMM) is pro-posed based on the Particle Filter. In our algorithm, via the Joint-Chain Motion Model (JCMM) is defined, the arm mo-tion state space can be discomposed into some low dimension subspaces, and the amount of particle in tracking can be re-duced. The result of experiment shows that our algorithm can advance the com-putational efficiency while guarantee pre-cision of tracking.
