- Abstract
This paper aims at understanding the adjudication of marriage dispensation in Religious Court, especially in the hearing of child’s testimony. Interviews are conducted with judges, officials, parents and children, there is also observation of the hearing process in religious court. The Supreme Court Regulation No 5/2019 aims at protecting children and reducing child marriage among the society. However, there are several aspects should be taken into consideration by the judges, such as: increase number of cases, limited judges, social and cultural aspects.
