Abstract

To give full play to the function of the United Front departments and construct an new effective pattern of Street United Front work is a significant guarantee to do well in all aspects of the United Front Work and an inevitable requirement to consolidate and strengthen the United Front in the new stage. By means of the questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation, it is found that there are some problems in Street United Front Work in the new era, such as inadequate ideological understanding and imperfect mechanism and system. It is hoped that by taking measures like unified ideological understanding, improving system and mechanism, and innovating united front carriers, the contradictions in grass-roots society can be solved; all positive factors can be mobilized; the socialist modernization power can be built; and the harmonious socialist society can be established.
