Abstract

The article discusses the problem of interregional imbalances in the most important indicator of the living standard of population - the size of average per capita monetary incomes. The study made it possible to detect the dynamics of the decrease in the level of interterritorial differentiation by the analyzed indicator in the period 2005 to 2015. Using the correlation-regression analysis, a retrospective model was constructed showing a close feedback of the average per capita income in Central Federal District of the Russian Federation with coefficients of variation calculated on the basis of similar indicators in 18 constituent entities of the district. Results of the assessment can be used by regional and federal authorities to develop and implement measures to reduce territorial differences in the level of average per capita cash income of the population.
