Proceedings of the 3rd International Symposium on Asian B&R Conference on International Business Cooperation (ISBCD 2018)
The Asian B&R Conference on International Business Cooperation is held in Kunming, China on October 20th, 2018. As a sub-session of the third International Symposium on Business Corporation and Development in South- East and South Asia under B&R Initiative, the conference focuses on themes of business, trade, management, and cooperative model in South-east and South Asia regions under the background of the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ and the establishment of AIIB (Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank). A series of academic talks, presentation and discussion sessions are included in the symposium as well.
The organizers of this conference are International Business School of Yunnan University of Finance & Economics (YNUFE), Business School and the Research Division of YNUFE. Co-organizers include Khon Kaen University (Thailand), Rangsit University (Thailand), Claremont Graduate University (USA), Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (Australia), The University of Newcastle (Australia), Charles Sturt University (Australia), The University of Greenwich (UK), and Edinburgh Napier University (UK). In this conference, we have received 226 papers and accepted 97 with the acceptance ratio reaching 42.92%. Each paper has been anonymously evaluated by two separate experts, and in the circumstance of the disagreement between the two experts the paper would be sent to the third expert for evaluation. After the authors modifying and revising their papers according to the review comments, the papers would be sent to the experts and they finally decide whether to accept or not.
To offer suggestions and solutions for some potential problems in the business cooperation and development in Southeast and South Asia regions, the conference invites famous experts from Southeast China University of Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, as well as government leaders from Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China (MOHURD), Department Commerce of Yunnan Province, Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, Yunnan Provincial Industry & Information Commission, government officials, and Business counterparts to be involved in the communication.
