This research designs an ultrasonic range finder where a MSP430F413 embedded system is used as a controller system. The research presents the instrument architecture with ultrasonic transmitted circuit, received circuit, embedded system. Also it study that the temperature and time interval error influences the distance detecting accuracy in the ultrasonic range finder,
