The 2nd International Conference on Technology and Educational Science, was organized by Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The conference was held virtually from Bali, Indonesia on November, 11th, 2020. The theme of The International Conference on Technology and Educational Science is “The New Era of Education: Innovation in Practice”. This theme was selected to meet the need for adaptation in various aspects of life to survive in the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic condition makes it a must for people to do a physical distancing as an effort to suppress the transmission of this very contagious COVID-19. To meet the challenge of this physical distancing, this conference was held on-line with ZOOM application.

Abstract submission was ended on August 30th, because of the many enthusiasts of academicians, researchers, as well as practitioners who want an extension of time, we have extended until October 5th. The amount of abstract submissions is about 109. The selected abstract and the full paper published on Atlantis Press proceeding indexed by Web of Science. The participants come from Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and Australia.

Eight Keynote and Invited Speeches were presented by (1) Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Indonesia; (2) Prof. Dato' Dr. Norazah Mohd Nordin, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia; (3) Prof. Masayuki Kakehashi, Hiroshima University, Japan; (4) Prof Seung Won Yoon, Texas A&M University, United States; (5) Prof. Lucas Walsh, Monash University, Australia; (6) Prof. Maryam Frieda Mangunsong Siahaan, Universitas Indonesia, Indonesia; (7) Andrian Liem, Ph.D., University of Macau, Macau; (8) Dr. Abu Yazid Abubakar, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia.

It is an honor for us to be with you at this virtual conference in which yours valuable contributions will help us to broader our horizon particularly in the field of technology and education. This event can be held because of supports and tremendous effort from all of us. As a committee chair let me thank you all, especially to Rector of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Dean of Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, Vice Deans of Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha all of the keynote and invited speakers, all of the committee, presenters and the participants.
