- Abstract
The socio-economic conditions of forest dwellers are essential to understanding and tackling the wider issues of sustainable development and conservation. Often living in remote, ecologically sensitive regions, forest dwellers depend heavily on forest resources for their livelihoods, including food, shelter, medicine, and income. This dependence influences their economic activities, social structures, and overall well-being, presenting unique opportunities and challenges [1].
