Abstract

Financial inclusion is an important component of financial development because it provides financial services and access to the community, which can encourage economic growth and reduce poverty, where economic growth and poverty are included in the critical objectives of sustainable development goals (SDGs). This research will examine the influence of Financial Inclusion on poverty alleviation and Economic Growth in Indonesia using the Common Panel method; we added control variables, namely economic growth, Human Development Index (HDI), and digital access. The data used is 34 provinces in Indonesia, divided into 2 regions, namely the western and eastern regions of Indonesia, with an annual period between 2020 - 2023. In terms of financial inclusion, which encourages economic growth, the western and eastern regions are more influenced by access to financial products. In response to poverty alleviation, for the western region, it is more influenced by availability, while for the eastern region is access. The different characteristics of poverty levels in the two regions need to be more focused on the technical availability of financial access to encourage equal distribution of financial access.
