- Abstract
Coastal landforms in Bantul Regency, especially Sanden Sub-district, have variations in the form and process of formation. One of the uses of coastal landforms is for food crop agriculture. Coastal landforms are dominated by sand material, have high water permeability, so they are less able to bind plant nutrients. These conditions require technological intervention. This study aims to determine variations of coastal landforms and calculate the economic productivity of each type of coastal landform. The methods used are land surveys and land productivity surveys based on farmers’ notes or memories. The results showed there were five types of landforms: sand bar, the old beach ridge, swale, young beach ridge and floodplains. Land productivity based on the selling price of the product in each landform are Rp 144.279.449 /ha/year on the old beach ridge, Rp 179.025.974/ha/year on the swale, Rp 390.521.688/ha/year on the young beach ridge and Rp 453.959.75/ha/year on the foodplain.
