Abstract

This research aims to analyze the potential for eruption disasters. Mount Merapi in Klangon and its surroundings. The research method used namely an integrated rapid survey. Data collection techniques consist of field observations, interviews, and literature studies. The analysis is descriptive empirical by triangulating data from data collection techniques allows researchers to get a more comprehensive picture of the risk of geological disasters in Klangon Hill. The results of this research show that the location of Klangon Hill, which is right under the foot of Mount Merapi, makes this location vulnerable to lava flows and hot clouds. The potential for geological disasters that often occur are volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and landslides.
