Abstract

The quality of German products is world-renowned, mainly due to its unique engineer training model. This paper introduces the development of German engineer training mode firstly. It discusses the unique engineer training mode of the German University of Applied Sciences from three aspects: training concept, training goal and training mode. Furthermore, it provides ideas for the development of engineering education in local undergraduate colleges in view of the problems faced in the development and reform of higher education in China.
