Abstract

Based on the analysis and summary of relevant national policies on teacher training, teachers’ post requirements and teachers’ own development needs, this paper obtains four dimensions of preschool teacher training and teaching ability, academic research, social service and personal development, 19 module needs, conducts a questionnaire survey on the training needs, and sorts the four dimensions according to the priority of needs, From high to low: teaching ability, personal growth, social service and academic research. The training needs for teaching ability and personal development are more prominent. Academic research falls far behind the other three dimensions. Within each dimension, 19 demand modules are divided by priority. In the dimension of teaching ability, preschool teachers recognize the importance of teaching skills, and their proficiency needs to be improved, which is an important part of training; In the dimension of academic research, the participation indicators of scientific research participation platform and curriculum construction are above medium, and the average value of scientific research output and scientific research promotion is low. Training should give priority to building scientific research platform and strengthening the construction of scientific research basic conditions; In the dimension of serving society, the importance of social service is not high, and the proficiency is medium. Community service participation is the ability most urgently needed by preschool teachers; In the dimension of personal growth, professional skills training, self-improvement and social organization participation pay much more attention than others, and the proficiency is low, which is the preferred direction of training.
