The development of structural engineering is also highly valued, generating many academic issues worth exploring. To provide a platform for communication and sharing in construction engineering among experts and scholars, the 2024 7th International Conference on Structural Engineering and IndustrialArchitecture (ICSEIA 2024) was held in Guangzhou from March 29–31, 2024. The conference attracted more than 200 participants from around the world. The conference committee consists of many famous scholars, with the international one accounting for more than 35%, who have deep academic attainments and rich practical experience in their respective fields, providing a solid guarantee for the smooth progress of the conference. The call for papers of ICSEIA 2024 covers a wide range of aspects of structural engineering and industrial architecture, including but not limited to Engineering Structure and Seismic Resistance, Dynamic Analysis of Structure, Engineering Quality Appraisal, Intelligent Construction, Urban Planning and Design, Smart Transportation System, etc. These topics are the current research hotspots and cutting-edge issues in the field of structural engineering and industrial architecture, attracting the attention and contributions of many scholars at home and abroad. After rigorous review, a number of high-quality papers were finally selected, providing the conference with rich academic content and in-depth discussion topics. The conference aimed to build a high-level academic exchange platform and promote the collision of ideas and sharing of results between domestic and foreign experts and scholars. A number of well-known scholars worldwide, including Professor Ramón Pedro Artiaga Díaz (the University of A Coruña), Professor Dongmei Luo (Foshan University), Professor Shiguo Long (Xiangtan University), and Professor Junxian Zhao (South China University of Technology), gave dramatic keynote speeches and shared their latest research results and practical experience in related domains, providing participants with valuable academic insights and reference. In conclusion, the 2024 7th International Conference on Structural Engineering and IndustrialArchitecture is a high-level academic event,which provides a valuable communication platform for experts and scholars engaged in the research of structural engineering and industrial architecture. It is believed that in the near future, with the continuous development of structural engineering and industrial architecture, this field will usher in a broader development prospect and richer academic achievements.
