- Abstract
The rapid evolution of technology in the digital era has transformed multiple sectors globally. In India, the intersection of the Digital Mission and Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG 9) offers a strategic framework to enhance infrastructure and technological advancements for sustainable development. SDG 9 focuses on building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation. Integrating the Digital Mission into this framework can address challenges such as poor infrastructure, inadequate access to technology, and environmental sustainability concerns. By referring to the few on- going mega infrastructure development projects in India, this research paper explores how India can leverage its digital initiatives to contribute to SDG 9 by focusing on green building technologies, smart cities, renewable energy solutions, and technological innovation for sustainable development. This research examines how government actions with new technologies and project methods can bring Digital Mission and SDG 9 together in India.
