Abstract

With the arrival of MNCs in India, the working style and the workplace have changed tremendously. In this competitive world, organizations undoubtedly want employees who are loyal and committed. To demonstrate their loyalty, employees often extend their working hours, continuously contemplate work-related matters, and exert additional effort in their tasks. The study explored the possible linkage between workaholism and employee well-being (EWB) collecting data from 138 employees of selected Photo voltaic (solar power) organizations of Delhi NCR region using purposive sampling. Results highlight that workaholism bears a significant relationship with EWB. The findings imply that HR professionals must assess the tendency of being workaholic in their employees since numerous researchers stressed upon the negative outcomes of workaholism.
