- Abstract
Inflation is an economic situation in which the level of prices and the general costs continue to rise and this problem-the government continues to receive attention. Governments long-term goal is to keep the inflation rate in force are at very low levels. Many of the effects caused by the presence of inflation, one of which is poverty which is a condition in which the human or the dapak not meet basic needs. In this study, the author focused on the issue of inflation and poverty in Surabaya, when connected between inflation and poverty was very influential one another, inflation is a situation where the level of prices and general expenses rose and if the entire price of basic commodities also rise, power purchasing of goods of basic needs is also reduced because the income is also affected by factors and this will impact on the level of poverty is high. The ways of Islam to alleviate poverty are the guarantee of the fulfillment of primary needs that obliges men to provide for themselves and their families, obliging close relatives to help their relatives, obliging the state to help the poor, obliging the Muslims to help the poor. Management of ownership of wealth distribution in the midst of society, provision of employment, provision of educational services.
