- Abstract
The research scope of spatial narrative is very broad, including the spatial form of narrative texts such as novels, architecture and films, as well as the creative activities outside the narrative texts and the viewer’s participation and perception. The study of the exhibition of red relics based on the perspective of spatial narrative transformation is conducive to the perception and interpretation of the information of the exhibition of red relics, and is conducive to the inheritance, protection and utilization of the red relics. This paper takes the old site of Nanchang Bayi Memorial as a case for analysis. Through field research, the display design and visiting route of the old site are studied from the perspective of designers and visitors. Through the analysis of the narrative elements, narrative structure and narrative plots of the old site, the exhibition space of the old site is transformed into a language expression system.Through the visiting route, these language systems are connected together to construct the cultural connotation of the Red Relics Site.
