Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the world of education, including higher education. This corona virus inhibits teaching and learning activities that usually take place face-to-face requires lectures to be conducted online. Therefore, it requires innovation to create an effective learning process. The purpose of this study is to find out the picture of online learning innovation in the covid-19 pandemic in students of FE management department of Medan State University. The research subject is a student of the Department of Management of the Faculty of Economics, Medan State University class of 2020 which amounted to 226 students. Research data analysis is conducted using the Miles & Huberman analysis model which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and withdrawal and verification of conclusions. The results of the study are tool and infrastructure owned by the class of 2020 Management Department of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Medan, in carrying out online learning is sufficient. Online learning can make students of the Class of 2020 Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, Medan State University learn more independently, creatively and technologically literate. The implementation of online learning as a whole effectively suppresses the spread of Covid-19 in the campus environment of Medan State University. Online learning innovations used in lectures are by case study methods, problem-based learning (problem base learning), project-based learning, Learning media used is e-Learning: Zoom, Google Meet; SIPDA: https://elearning sipda unimed.ac.id, Google Classroom, learning videos and other learning resources.
