The 1st International Conference on Multidisciplinary Studies (ICOMSI) was an excellent opportunity for international and Indonesian scholars to present their research to the Indonesian community of scholars. During the two days, scholars also visited the city and saw the historical places. During the conference, national and international scholars had conversations, and they shared many exciting themes of working together and having the possibility of future collaboration. Many local scholars have the chance to attend this conference, which is very good for the people of the city who are always looking to improve their knowledge and want to understand new trends in social sciences. I congratulate the Graduate School of Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, for arranging this event. In the future, this conference will continue and attract more scholars from within and outside Indonesia.
