Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the forms and legal remedies for legal protection for children who are forced to work. This legal research uses statute approach. The results of the study proved that children who were forced to work due to economic factors had not received maximum legal protection. Lack of data on the presence of children who are forced to work resulted in the decrease of level of supervision and law enforcement. The implication of the research is that the government must immediately create a rule of law or policy that protects children who are forced to work so that their future is guaranteed as qualified citizens.
