Welcome to the Proceeding of ICNSSE 2020. The First International Conference on Natural and Social Science Education 2020 has developed this proceeding. This event was held by Research and Development Institute, University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr.HAMKA.

The 1st International Conference on Natural and Social Science Education 2020 brings out the issues of the sustainable development goals that the world, especially Indonesia, is still striving to face. With the main theme of “Innovative Research in Science and Education in The Disruptive Era”, this conference is trying to play a role as a vehicle of showcasing scientific works from around the world, not only from researchers but also from lecturers, government officers, students and all parties that have the same interests. The event is deliberately held to create a fruitful discussion about Natural and Social Science Education issues.

This conference fits with the long-established orientation of the Research and Development Institute, University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA in order to receive more recognition on research and education. It will actively promote a discussion which is expected to contribute to the theoretical and empirical literature and policy dialogue, particularly on the world issues. There are several keynote and invited speakers, who are internationally recognized experts in their areas, Prof. Dr. Lynn Clouder from Coventry University, United Kingdom, Prof. Dr. Kazatuka Aonuma from University of Tsukuba, Japan, AP. Prof. Suswandari, M.Pd. from University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka, Indonesia, AP. Dr. Abdul Rahim Othman from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia, AP. Dr. Robert Kleinsasser from Arizona State University, United State of America, AP. Dr. Anne Cullen from Griffith University, Australia.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all parties which lead The 1st International Conference on Natural and Social Science Education International Conference into a successful conference: delegates of UTP-Malaysia, Griffith University-Australia, UNJ, IPB, UNPAD, and especially delegates of UHAMKA. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to honorable speakers and presenters who had shared knowledge and experiences in developing a robust discussion and transformative intellectual exchange. We wish all activities during this two-day conference will stimulate further relation, collaboration, and constructive engagement among intellectuals in bringing their contribution for a better world establishment.
