Website: http://math.upm.edu.my/icmss2022/ The ICMSS 2022 serves as a platform for the scientific community members to exchange ideas and approaches, to present research findings and to discuss current issues and topics related to mathematics, statistics as well as their applications. The conference themed “Towards Intensified Research in Highly Mathematical and Statistical Based Technology”. It was initially scheduled in 2020; however, due to the rules and regulations from the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was postponed to 2022 on March 15–16 and was held virtually. This proceeding spans over ten main branches of mathematical and statistical fields and their applications such as algebra, geometry, differential equations, analysis, statistical modelling and data science, just to mention a few. Despite the restrictions, the conference had received a total number of 93 submission from both local and international participants, and only 40 manuscripts were selected for publication in the proceeding. Efforts from Scientific Committee who were laboriously sorting and assigning the manuscript, as well as the respective peer reviewers who were scrupulously reading and commenting, are highly appreciated. On behalf of the organizing committee, we took this opportunity to appreciate the delegates from all over the world, keynote and invited speakers for partaking in the conference this year and sessions chairpersons, technical crews, Banasthali University as co-organizers, sponsors (PERSAMA, ISMy, Sunflower Shawl, OEMS Intipakar Corporation SDN BHD, MathsProofRead and Besraya) and others who directly or indirectly made this virtual conference successfully achieved its goal. We are also thankful to the Atlantis Proceeding for accepting to publish the manuscripts in their proceeding’s series. As the final foreword, we hope that the conference shall continue to the next series and deliver its purpose as the arena for presenting and exchanging the ideas of research in the field of mathematics and statistics and anything related.
