Abstract

Mercury in coal-fired power plants is a trace element, will be discharged into the atmosphere along with the smoke, endangering human health and ecological environment. Mercury removal from power plants has become a hot research topic at present. In this paper, combined with the existing conditions of mercury removal technology, focusing on the desulfurization wastewater spray into the flue synergistic removal of elemental mercury, and then proposed a new environmentally friendly mercury removal method.
