- Abstract
Carrier aggregation (CA) technique is introduced by 3GPP to support higher data rate transmissions over up to 100 MHz frequency bandwidths in LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) systems. However, the use of CA brings new challenges to radio resource management (RRM). In this paper, we propose RRM algorithms, involving resource block (RB) scheduling and power allocation.
