- Abstract
According to the core content of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, China has officially embarked on its second 200-year journey, which is a new starting point for our country. At the same time, it is a new start and development paradigm for China to build a high-quality education system and become a country strong in culture, education and talents. Higher education is an important part of the education system to cultivate talents, which determines the quality and quantity of talents and influences whether China can become a powerful country in education and culture. Based on the analysis of the development status of higher education for individuals with disabilities in China, the paper summarizes the problems existing in its development and puts forward some effective countermeasures for solving these problems, such as establishing an effective joint examination mechanism, improving school management, developing professional settings, promoting the quality and quantity of teachers, and developing collaborative education.
