- Abstract
A new distance metric between interval-valued fuzzy sets is proposed. And based on this metric, we analysis and compare the structures of four special interval-valued fuzzy metric spaces, which are induced by four well-known residual implication operations. It shows that the interval-valued fuzzy metric spaces induced by Lucasiewicz implication and Goguen implication are more suitable for interval-valued fuzzy reasoning.
