Proceedings of the International Conference on Language, Literature, and Education (ICLLE 2018)
The 2018 International Conference on Language, Literature, and Education (ICLLE 2018) was held in Padang, Indonesia, in July 19-20, 2018. This conference was organized by the Indonesian Language and Literature Department, Faculty of Languages and Arts of Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia. ICLLE 2018 provides an excellent international forum for sharing knowledge and results of research with the themes “current issues in language, literature, and education. The conference looks for significant contributions to all major fields of the language and literature research for the development of language education in theoretical and application aspects. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform to the global researchers and practitioners to meet and share cutting-edge development in the fields.
The conference accommodates topics for Linguistics in general including issues in linguistics, literary studies, library studies, as well as Applied Linguistics. In this conference, we received about 172 papers and 98 papers have been accepted for publication in Atlantis Press, a WoS indexed conference proceedings. All of accepted papers were subjected to strict peer-reviewing by 2-3 expert reviewers. The papers have been selected for this volume because of quality and the relevance to the conference. We hope this book will not only provide the readers a broad overview of the latest research results on language, literature, and education, but also provide the readers a valuable summary and reference in these fields.
