Abstract

As the first person to communicate between China and the West, Xu Guangqi pointed out that “the study of the history of technology in our country should focus on “Kaogongji” and “Heavenly Creations” underneath. This shows that “Kaogongji” and “Heavenly Creations” “Both take “sage creation” as the logical basis for the development of material culture in ancient China, emphasize the legitimacy of the concept of creation hierarchy, and build an overall harmonious creation relationship of “Heaven-Earth-Man”. “Tiangong Kaiwu” is the inheritance and supplement of “Kaogongji” creation art and design ideas, and it is the master of my country’s traditional creation culture. The book expounds design thinking and value pursuit from two levels of theory and practice, and summarizes its creation concept: the craftsman spirit and main status of “striving for perfection”; the systematic design concept of “the harmony between man and nature”; “practical and practical” The practical and democratic design ideas. Through the two to think about the inner relationship between Chinese traditional creation thought and technology.
