Abstract

Data center energy consumption is increasing with the rapid development of data center in recent years. This paper firstly elaborated data center energy saving technologies from three aspects: the power supply system, the air conditioning system and the IT epuipments, then carried on the energy efficiency comparative analysis of high voltage DC(HVDC) power supply technology and the traditional UPS system power supply technology. We come to the conclusion that the high voltage DC power supply technology obtained the better energy efficiency than the traditional UPS system power supply technology.
