- Abstract
A ternary compound Er10Ga3Si3 was synthesized and studied by means of X-ray powder diffraction technique using Rietveld methods. The ternary compound Er10Ga3Si3 crystallizes in the hexagonal structure, space group P63/mcm (N0.193) with the Mn5Si3 structure type and lattice parameters a= 8.3595(1) , c=6.3095(1) , V = 381.84Å3, z=1 and x=8.55 g/cm3.
