Joint proceedings of the 2nd and the 3rd International Conference on Food Security Innovation (ICFSI 2018-2019)
Food security is measure of the availability of food and individuals accessibility to it, where accessibility includes affordability. Food security is a potential predicament to the world at this time. Today we are facing a challenge to provide the inexpensive, sustainable, and nutritious food to the fast-growing world’s population. Food security is contrary term to food insecurity. It is include a wide range of fundamental food issues. It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2nd and 3rd International Conference of Food Security Innovation (ICFSI). The 2nd ICFSI was carried out on 23rd October 2018 at Aston Anyer Beach Hotel Serang, Banten Indonesia with the theme “Emerging a Sustainable Agriculture, Maritime and Local Resources Empowerment for Global Food Innovation” and the 3rd ICFSI on 9th September 2019 in Ledian Hotel Serang Banten Indonesia with the theme “Rethinking Sustainable Development Goals Climate Change, Agriculture, Maritime, Plantation and Local Resources Empowerment for Global Food Innovation”. The Keynote spekears from Flinders University Australia, Tsukuba university Jepang, University Putra Malaysia, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Islam International Malaysia, IPB University, Universitas Gajah Mada, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Indonesia.
This seminar is organized by Indonesia Center of Excellence for Food Security (Local Food Innovation) Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa and supported by Universitas Mulawarman, Universitas Jember, and Universitas Negeri Malang. The aim of the conference is to gather scientists, educational experts, and practitioners, students, and civil society organizations representatives in the scientific forum, and to share and to discuss theoretical and practical knowledge about innovation in Food Security in Applied Engineering, Maritime, and agriculture economics.
The aims of the seminar are; The first, to gather the scientists, educational experts and practitioners, students, and civil society organization representatives in the scientific forum, and the second to share and to discuss theoretical and practical knowledge about innovation in Food Security in Applied Engineering, Maritime and Agriculture Economic and Social Science and Regulation and Policy.The scope of the conference is not limited to the following major topics as they relate to the Food Security Innovation: the first, An innovation of food security in applied earth science including advances in food science and technology, agricultural mechanization and automation, Food Nano Technology, the second, An innovation of food security in maritime, agriculture and environmental science including Aqua farming-techniques and methods, agricultural biotechnology, agriculture and food security, the third an innovation of food security in the economic and social environment including education of sustainable food security, agribusiness, social protection for food security, transitions, and urbanization, the fourth an innovation of food security in regulation and earth policy including the rising crisis of governing food security, regulations and packaging, food quality control systems, regulatory improvements in food security.
